In a pub in rural moorland in Yorkshire a group of people get stranded due to the local roads flooding. They think they are entirely unconnected – a seemingly random gathering – but their pasts bind them together. As the evening progresses links are discovered, secrets disclosed, revelations revealed – some unsettling, some life affirming – all of them important.
